Oh hey September! Nice to see you again. Ok that’s a lie, bring summer back! Could we fast-forward to June 2016?

When Ricky’s NYC announced they were going to open up in a new location in SOHO, I found it a bit odd. The Ricky’s Flaship store is only a few blocks away from this new place. I just didn’t know what they were planning to do, was it to grab all those amazing brands we love and obsessed over on Instagram, and put them under one roof. Until now, most of these brands could only be purchased by ordering them online.

You guyz… I can’t even explain to you how it feels when you first walk in. Just give it a moment for this thought to sink in: You step into a stylish store where you could find Morphe Brushes, Gerard Cosmetics, LA Girl, NYX, Violet Voss, OCC, Hot Makeup, and soooooo many other brands under ONE roof. It felt like an “As Seen On Instagram” store. It really is #BeautyIRL. It’s a real life feed of my instagram y’all! I kept waiting for the LIKE button to appear so I could press it.

But I’ll stop my fangirling for a moment, and let me show you some of the brands they carry:

There are some brands that I would love the store to carry. Like Eye Kandy, Lip Bar, Sigma, Melt, J. Cats, The Balm, ColourPop, and because they are lacking eyebrow products Kelly Baker Brows and Anastasia.

If you’re in the NYC area, you NEED to stop in. You need to experience the feels. The staff was super friendly, and were more than willing to help.
