Today we have a simple and easy Crockpot Pot Roast Recipe for you. We all have busy lives, and the thought of getting home to cook, some times makes you cringe. Not to worry here’s a recipe you can toss together before leaving work in the morning, and it’ll be ready when you get home.
All you’ll need:
- Boneless Chuck Roast
- Assorted Vegetables: Half a head of cabbage chopped. Baby potatoes, carrots, celery, and onions.
- Red Wine
- Salt & Pepper
- Parsley
DIRECTIONS
In the morning, rub down the roast with a mix of salt and black pepper.
In the crock pot, toss in the vegetables with the red wine, and a little water.
Then place the roast on top. Cover it and leave it cooking all day. When you get home, it’ll be ready to eat.
To pull apart the roast, use two forks.
Garnish with fresh parsley when serving, and enjoy.
