Today it’s all about Pixi by Petra. I am so happy I bought this set from Ipsy offers. I joined Ipsy a couple weeks ago and as their customer, not only do you get a monthly bag, three times a week, they have Ipsy Offers that are very hard to resists. It’s pure evil!

A little about the company:

Creator, Petra Strand, has over 20 years of experience as a makeup artist, product developer, and is a mother of two. Pixi is the brand for women on the go! Each product is multi-tasking, flaw-fixing, youth-enhancing that can be applied easily and quickly.

I had previously heard of the brand and I wanted to give it a try. So when the Ipsy offer came about, I couldn’t pass it up. I paid $15.00USD for a Flawless Beauty Primer, Fairy Dust Eyeshadow in Brightening Bare, and a Shea Butter Tinted Lip Balm. Basically all you need in your purse for the summer.

If you’re looking for a very natural look, with a little bit of shimmer, and a nice pink lips, this is it.

The Fairy Dust shadow comes with a wand for application. So you don’t even need a brush. I just applied a tiny bit on my hand you can see the shimmer. It’s a beautiful gold. Before applying, tap off the excess. If not, it’ll fall all over your cheeks and lashes.

The primer works wonders. Not only does it even out skin tone, it also adds a youthful glow, and hydrates. I literally applied it without foundation, and pressed lose power to set it in and I was ready. During the summer, when I have nice a tan, this will definitely be my everyday look. In this picture you can noticed the difference. I applied the primer to only one hand.

And last but not least is this beautiful tinted lip balm. This is one of the best pink lip balm shades I’ve ever tried.

Did I mention how good all their products smell? They do!
