Walking into Sephora is dangerous for my pocket, but it also fills me with tons of happiness. Oh the things you can find!

On this trip to makeup heaven, I came across the Tarte Gym Bag Grabs. I swear I heard a choir of angels sing when I saw the box. This was like nirvana for someone like me. Yes, I am a girly girl that loves makeup. But I am also gym rat. To have Tarte combine that into a box is bloody amazing!

The box includes four items:

• 0.035 oz/ 1 g Rainforest of the Sea™ Quench Lip Rescue in Nude (deluxe size)
• 0.24 oz/ 7 mL Lifted™ Mascara in Black Brown (full size)
• 0.5 oz/ 15 mL Brighter Days highlighting moisturizer (travel size)
• 10 x Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipe

These items are meant to be used after your workout. In another words, so we don’t look like a scary hot mess as we walk out of the gym. Thanks Tarte, I appreciate you looking out for us gym girls! Let’s not even discuss as to how awful I look after being at the gym for a few hours.

The mascara claims to be sweat proof. So this past Saturday, I put it on before heading to kickboxing. I sweat like a banshee during class; perfect time to test it out. Automatically, I loved the length and volume it gave my lashes. Plus it felt light, practically weightless.

Did the mascara run? Did I look like a raccoon after? NOPE! It did stay put and not even a single smudge. I think the mascara is by far my favorite item in the box and worth the $29.00 USD price tag alone.

The lipstick feels velvety soft on my lips, with a bit of shine. The brightening moisturizer is nice, but it does have a bit of a silvery highlight. So make sure you blend it into your skin evenly.

Here’s a quick video of me after the gym looking like a crazed lunatic and then after a quick shower. Still looking like a lunatic but at least a bit presentable.

No there isn’t a huge change. It just brightens you up to look a bit more decent. I like it a lot. These are items any gym girl should keep in their gym bag. I showed the box to the ladies of my FitFam, and they were practically running out to Sephora to grab their own.

My only complaint about this set, is the travel and deluxe sizes. I know-I know, this is a sample box. But listen, I get enough of those teeny tiny sizes from Ipsy. If I am going to buy something, I want the actual full size. I want full size items please and thank you.

This is a limited edition set. But I am really hoping they expand the Gym Bag collection. Maybe get different shades of the moisturizer. Maybe some eyeshadow? Keeping my fingers crossed! Get it at Sephora.
