Happy Beauty Tuesday!

Today instead of makeup I am reviewing this amazing overnight peel that should be part of your skin care regimen. 

A few months ago I went back to school to become an Esthetician and it’s amazing to learn about the skin; its functions, it’s diseases, the different types, what’s good for what, and much more. I am fascinated with esthetics that’s for sure. 

With that said , I am now all about ingredients. I  find myself reading the labels of all my beauty products and one of them caught my attention and it’s the derma e overnight peel. This exfoliant is amazing! If you didn’t receive it at Generation Beauty NY like I did, please go get it and start using it right away.

WHY USE THIS | As we age, our skin gets lazy and the production of new cells starts to slow down. That’s when we start seeing more wrinkles, sagginess, dullness, etc. We can prevent that, and help our cell turnover rate to get back to normal by exfoliating our skin once or twice a week depending on your skin type. 

REASONS TO LIKE THIS PRODUCT | I like Derma e overnight peel because it’s a mild exfoliant that contains alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) which is known to aid in the reduction of wrinkles and responsible for improving the look and feel of our skin.  Even though this is a low concentration I am very impressed with how my skin is reacting after only 2 uses. My skin is brighter, smoother and I feel that my foundation looks 10 times better now. 

APPLICATION | Apply on clean skin before bed, leave on overnight, and rinse in the morning.

At first I felt a burning or tingling sensation, but it went away after a couple of minutes. The very next morning I noticed nothing too dramatic but my face was a lot brighter. The second time I used it, I noticed my skin a lot smoother. So it will only get better and better the more I use it. 

WARNINGS | Personally I think if you have very sensitive skin you should not try this, even though it’s labeled for ALL skin types.
