Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today we are going to discuss one of the trends we spotted during October 2016 NYC Bridal Fashion Week, Bridal Capes.

I personally first spotted bridal capes in Oleg Cassini’s Fall 2015 Collection. And this year it seemed to have exploded all over the Bridal Market runways. Tons of designers have made their take on what I fondly call the “Superhero Bride” look.

It’s hard to pick a favorite because they are all so beautiful in their own right. I do have a soft spot for the Pas de Deux cape. When I saw it, I literally gasped. The photo doesn’t do it justice. The hand placement just reminds me of something out of a Jane Austen movie.
