What a wonderful night at the Oleg Cassini Fall 2015 show. The staff was incredible and warm. And everything sparkled! What girl doesn’t love bling?

This collection was inspired by the glamour of the book 1000 Days of Magic of the Kennedy White House. What an inspiration, Jacqueline Kennedy!

The Cassini Wedding Dress Collection reflects Oleg’s elegant refinement of classic lines and opulent fabrics. Like sparkling champagne, the rich details of polishes crystals stitched with the silver and gold glisten in reflected light. The graceful elegance of the Oleg Cassini Wedding Dress Collection celebrates the Bride, who is sublimely elegant in her most important dress. This exquisite collection includes cascading lace and intricate beading lending a note of polished glamour. Opulent handcrafted embroidery details on the sculpted silhouettes are lightly dusted with shimmering crystals and pearls that catch and reflect the light. Layers of softly colored fabrics blended with unique lace patterns to create a magical ethereal effect, making the gowns seem to float.

I was able to take a peak at the models as they were getting ready, take a look.

The collection was beautiful. Every gown made me smile. Of course they did. All the dresses were only covered in lace and crystals. But then this one came out and I had a bit of a fangirl moment. It. Had. A. Cape. I am not afraid to admit my first thought was, “OMG Superhero Bride!”. But really it was breathtaking.

The trumpet lace gown was stunning, but the cape was want really did me in. It was sheer material, with lace on the sleeves, and up and down the length. Want to wear a veil but not add extra weigh to your head? This is your solution. Plus you’ll be a superhero bride and that’s a win!

On the beauty end, I love the simplicity of the makeup and hair. But then again it was Oleg himself that said, “Simplicity is the key to perfection…”. The models wore soft long waves or loose pony tails with a bit of height. My favorite was the understatement of a good ribbon bow.

If you ever felt like a dress made you want to cry, this was it. I honestly felt like I was in a beautiful dream of lace, sparkle, and champagne.
