Happy Monday Party people!
I wanted to share with you a recipe I tweaked, that has become my go to appetizer. It’s not exactly healthy but it’s definitely high in protein. It’s great for football Sunday, and fun for fall cause it’s orange.
So here is my interpretation of Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Dip. These are the measurements I found to work/taste best, and sorry I can’t use canned chicken like the original recipe calls for. So what I do is I buy a rotisserie chicken and shred it. Super easy!
What you’ll need:
- 1 rotisserie chicken shredded
- 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 3/4 cup blue cheese dressing (Ken’s is the best)
- 1 – 8oz container of Whipped Cream Cheese
Just dump all ingredients in a bowl and mix. Yep that’s it. I like to prepare it the night before, because I feel like the flavors meld better overnight. Before serving it needs to go into an oven for 30 minutes at 350 F degrees. It gets nice and bubbly and gooey.
I like serving it with Fritos Scoops as a dip, or on King’s Hawaiian bread mini rolls as a slider. You can also serve with celery sticks to keep it low carb.
This dip is so good you can just eat it with a spoon, yes I’ll admit it, I’ve done it. I’ve also been told it’s even good cold, and I believe it.
Try out this recipe, you will thank me, I PROMISE. I had a family member call it liquid crack. It’s addicting, it’s that good. You can’t eat just one bite.

Buon Appetito!
