It’s a beautiful day in our neighborhood. Happy Beauty Tuesday!
Today I am reviewing NYC’s Liquid Eyeliner for you all. I don’t know how or why I waited so long to try this liner. It’s, beauty creator and YouTuber, Chrisspy’s favorite and she’s ONLY mentioned this liner in just about all her beauty tutorials. Shame on me!
According to the NYC website, this eyeliner is:
- Deep and strong color.
- Perfect line, high-precision applicator.
- Fast-drying, smudge-resistant formula.
- Dermatologist tested.

My Thoughts | If you are just starting to learn how to do winged liner, I highly recommend that you start practicing with this liner. It makes applying the winged liner look easy, effortless, and quick. If you are a pro at it, you are just going to love it even more!
It quickly dries into a beautiful black matte finish. The consistency is very liquidy but it won’t run all over the place. The applicator attached to the cap, is an old school very fine brush. I was a bit hesitant about trying it because I am used to those hard felt tip liners. But I was proven wrong! The brush is very precise, and even better, it gives you the option to make a fine or bold line.
The Good & The Bad | Let’s start with the good, the price. I only paid $2.99 USD for a 0.17 fl oz tube. WHAT!? Yes fantastic price! If you haven’t already, there isn’t any reason why you shouldn’t try it. I am a big fan!
Now, on to the bad. It’s not waterproof. However, I did wear it for about 10 hours in heat and humidity and it did a good job of staying in place. I wouldn’t recommend wearing it to go swimming, but other than that, there is no reason not to try it.
Where can you get it? Online at the NYC wesbite, and at practically any pharmacy in town. Check the NYC website for location near you.
But wait! There’s more! Make sure you join me today on SnapChat. I’ll be doing a tutorial with this eyeliner AND we may just have a giveaway. Tune in to find out!
