I’m in love you guys!… with a curling iron. Is that weird? Regardless, I can’t deny my undying love for Beachwaver PRO by celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa.
I had the pleasure of trying out this wand, at Ricky’s NYC event about a week or so ago. Usually, I don’t do heat in my hair. I let it go natural. It has a mind of it’s own and no matter how much time I spend curling it, blowing it out, or flat iron it, it just does what it wants. So, I don’t waste time trying to do anything to it but toss on rollers. As long as it’s tamed, and not a big ball of freeze, I’m happy. Specially during these humid summer days.
Saying I’m skeptical of any heated beauty tool, is an understatement. When you have the amount of hair I do, a lot of products just don’t work. And it takes SO long to accomplish a certain look, for it to only last an hour tops.
That’s until I found this Beachwaver. I sat on the chair, and it took the stylist 7 minutes to curl my entire ponytail. SEVEN minutes. That just doesn’t happen in my world. I spend hours at the hair salon under a dryer with rollers to accomplish this look. But in less than 10 minutes my hair looked beautiful. The best part of it all, it lasted until the next day before I destroyed my hair at the gym.
You know what makes this wand better than the rest? It spins. Yup, spins. Take a look:
And of course I had to take a few pictures while getting my hair done to share with y’all!
As you could see, it works great on all types of hair, and lengths. The only downfall on this waver is the price tag, $199 USD. But, the good thing is they have different levels of irons, take a look.
As always, thank you so much to Ricky’s NYC for hosting such fun events that allow us to try all these amazing products.

This looks like an awesome tool!! You’re hair looks gorgeous! I think the price is high too, but the results are fantastic! I need to look into this tool! Thanks for sharing! http://everythingandnothin.com/
Yeah the price is a bit steep but in the long run I think it’s worth it. You won’t need anything else for a long while. They do have a lower end curling wand. Maybe start small and then go big!
Thanx for the tips!!
Love this curling iron, your hair is beautiful dear ❤
