New Release by Mira Lyn Kelly

There’s a handful of authors that touch my feels. Mira Lyn Kelly, has always-ALWAYS touched my book nerds feelings in the best possible way. Yes, they are romance books, but not your typical barfy kind of romance. She puts her charters through crap before they find their happy ending. And that’s ok, because it’s exciting. It keeps me guessing how on earth could they get over all this junk and mess they’ve put themselves into and come out on the other end happy. Believe me, coming from me, this is a huge compliment. My friends know I hate tacky, boring romance. This is why Mira, has become one of my favorite authors.

Her leading ladies, are strong women that know what they want, and are fearless. But they also have a heart. I love that. Because I can identify myself with them. Nothing makes me put a book down faster than a mousy leading lady. Ok maybe, books written in the first person will also sit in my self never to be read, or get permanently deleted off my Kindle App.

But enough about me fan girling over Mira. Here’s her newest release:

Touch & Go Mira Lyn Kelly

USA Today bestselling author Mira Lyn Kelly cranks up the heat for two lifelong friends whose most secret longings come true in every delectable way.

Vivacious and successful, Ava Meyers is living her dream life, except for one thing: Ever since childhood, she’s been in love with her best friend . . . and she’s never admitted it. Back then, Sam Farrow was a damaged young man with a tough past. Now he’s supremely confident, super-sexy, and totally untouchable—until the night when Sam pretends to be Ava’s boyfriend to save her from some unwanted attention. In a moment of weakness, Ava finds out that a long friendship is no match for blistering sexual chemistry.

After years of denying his own feelings, Sam finds that one amazing night with Ava isn’t enough to chase away all the pent-up fantasies. So he proposes they spend a few weeks driving each other wild, exhausting their every desire, and then return to their perfect platonic relationship like nothing ever happened. But Sam’s plan has one fatal flaw: the part where they give each other up. Because the more they let go of their inhibitions, the more they’re tempted to never go back.

READ AN EXCERPT

MY THOUGHTS: I fell in love with Ava and Sam since I met them during her previous release, Truth or Dare. The moment I finished reading, I clicked over to Facebook and stalked Mira asking her, “Please tell me Sam & Ava are next!?” and to my thrill, she said YES! I felt as excited as if I was being proposed to, beaming and glowing all that comes with it. I couldn’t wait for this release. But we’ve all been there. Not being able to wait another second to get your hands on the story you’ve been dying for, and then it sucks. You feel let down and dirty. This is NOT that case.

Ava and Sam put me through a serious emotional roller coaster. The way they talk to each other. The honesty. The pain they both suffer. Their friendship. The love they share, that goes beyond romantic. It’s a crazy beautiful story. Yes, we’ve all read the ones where best-friends end up being in love with each other. But these two are beyond anything I expect.

Maybe I shouldn’t hype it so much. But I can’t help it. I love them. I love this story. I love Mira. No I’m not drunk telling random people I love them. I just really love this author. Do yourself a favor and pick up Truth or Dare, and then Touch & Go. You’ll thank me later. I take thanks in the forms of coffee, whiskey, and pretty makeup.
