Today we are taking a spin on our Foodie Monday, and talking about brunch! But not actual food…
After seeing a ton of gorgeous looks done with the Lorac I Love Brunch Pro Palette, I decided to buy it. The colors were calling to me and I wanted to be part of their world. Yes, it was a mermaid call. Plus, I mean, who doesn’t love brunch?
I grabbed it from Ulta for about $44 USD/0.48 OZ. This spread has 16 gorgeous, wearable pastel colors that can be used wet or dry, is heavy on pigment, smooth like butter, and made to outlast bottomless brunch beverages. For wet application, make sure you wet the brush first.
What I really liked about this, let’s call it a set, is that it brought a double ended brush and primer. I can’t remember the last time a palette included both items. Ps. The brush is super fluffy and soft.
Shades:
- Lavender (matte lavender)
- Jelly Donut (matte pale pink)
- Bloody Mary (shimmer coral)
- Mimosa (matte pastel peach)
- Eggs Benny (shimmer sage)
- Pancakes (shimmer cream)
- Blueberry Scones (matte sky blue)
- Smoothie (shimmer lilac)
- Gluten Free (shimmer white)
- Sorbet (matte dusty mauve)
- Moonlight (shimmer pastel gold)
- French Toast (shimmer grey bronze)
- Hot Sauce (matte salmon)
- Valet (matte light grey)
- Avocado Toast (matte seafoam)
- Sunday Funday (shimmer peach rose)
My overall thoughts? I love the colors! All of them, but of course I have a favorite, Avocado Toast.
I will admit thought, I expect a big palette but this was no bigger than my hand. I guess it looked bigger in pictures. It’s a bit bigger than Tarte’s Tarteist in Bloom Palette. Another palette that looked bigger in the pictures. Was it only me?
My final thoughts? I love the shade and the pigment. Lorac is one of those brands that I feel is under rated. Their shades are buttery soft and packed with pigment. If you’re not afraid of color and wants something fun and fresh for Spring and Summer, pick it up!
So, who wants to do brunch?
XOXOX!
