Happy Friday y’all! I stayed home from work today. It’s snowing out there. Not that it’s bad, I just couldn’t see myself dealing with snow today. Ever have one of those days?

Any who, last Friday, I attended the Ricky’s NYC, Burt’s Bees makeup launch party. They released a line of lipsticks and BB Cream.

I tried both and fell in love with their lipstick. Being that I have combination oily skin, I normally stay away from BB Creams. My t-zone gets entirely too oily when I wear one. It’s borderline disgusting. But I did try it out, and it felt really good on. It felt soft and light.

This is my ugly mug (yes I’m fishing for compliments), after I had on the liptstick and BB Cream. What do y’all think?

I’m obsessed with the lipstick, I wear it almost daily. It feels smooth and stays on for long periods. And even when it’s gone, your lips feel moisturized and nourished.

Before heading out, they gave us a really nice goodie bag, and I wanted to share it with you. So I filmed it. Take a look:

The Lipstick comes in about 14 different shades. It holds 8 hours of moisture, it’s full-coverage, and made with 100% naturally moisturizing ingredients like moringa and raspberry seed oils to help soften and condition your lips all day long. I can tell you, it feels really good on your lips. One of my favorite features about this product, is that the packaging is made out of 100% Recycled #5 plastic.

The BB Cream comes in 3 different shades. It’s 98.9% natural. Has SPF 15 protection. It firms, conceals, smooths, perfects, and illuminates skin. And also, evens skin tone and visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I tried it out in Light/Medium and it looked and felt great on my skin, and it didn’t over oil my t-zone.
