Let’s face it, we all need a little help here and there to look our best. And there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s makeup to the rescue!

Today I am sharing three of my makeup tips and tricks with you. Two of which, I do every single time I put on my face.

1. Thin lips? Don’t worry, grab your lip liner and lipstick and here is how to make them look bigger without any fillers. As you could see from the pictures below, my lips are naturally big. So I only use this tip when I want to make my lips the center of attention.

Today I am using NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Dolly Pink, and lipstick, also from NYX, Extra Creamy in Louisiana. Also, I’m using my Morphe BK44 Lip Brush. I do not not apply lipstick without my brush. It makes such a huge difference.

To create the illusion of bigger lips, apply the lip liner just outside of your natural lip line. Be sure to combine with a lipstick and fully blend in the liner. Fill in with your lipstick using your brush. By that point, your lips should be looking nice and plum. As an added bonus, apply a coat of your favorite lip plumper to finish the look.

2. Small eyes? If you have small eyes, wearing black eyeliner all around the eyes is a big no no. Filling in the water line with a dark liner can look great with smoky, but it can also make your eyes look about half their size. To make your eyes appear bigger and brighter, fill in your waterline with a matte white eye pencil. Watch your eyes pop, and instantly look open and brighter. I used my NYX Retractable Eyeliner in White.

3. Push up bra for your eyebrows? Yes please! Like mine, some eyebrows need a lift. Here’s an easy tip to help you accomplish that goal. For this, I used my Morphe BK11 Angled Eyeliner Brush for my brows and my Morphe 10CON Concealer Palette.

Adding an instant lift is easily do-able by softly filling in your arch, giving it more definition or simply making the arch slightly higher. Pick a color that is a shade or two lighter than your skin tone, and draw a line under your brows and then blend in, you will see the difference this trick makes.
