No Bake Vegan Brownie Bites

One of the new upcoming contributions when this blog switches over to Nerd & Lace will be healthy recipes from my friend Ange Yeaple. Not only is she a bonefied foodie, and an amazing cook. She is a certified personal trainer that stands by clean eating. Did I mention she’s studying to be a nurse? She is the jack of all trades. Plus she loves sharks and dinosaur. Making her one of the coolest people that has ever lived.

So here is a preview of one of her recipes, and just in time for Valentine’s Day. I’m not saying, don’t eat chocolate, just be contious on how you eat it.


Adjusted original recipe from lovebeingmrskasper

  • 1 cup dried pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup flax seed.

Put everything in a food processor and let it go until it becomes pliable. Then roll into balls and enjoy! Added bonus: roll them in chia seed and organic cocoa nibs.

They are 89 calories each and 3.5 grams of fat per brownie.
