This is the kind of song that makes me want to dance with a drink in my hand. So it’s a perfect Mardi Gras song! Every time I’m watching Treme and this song comes on, I do get off my behind and shake it around my room LOL!

If you don’t know what I am talking about, this song by John Boutte, a New Orleans Jazz Vocalist. It’s the theme song for the HBO show Treme which it’s based in New Orleans. The music in this show is just worth the watch, however the stories keep you coming back season after season. I myself have been watching since the first episode, and I haven not missed one in three season on HBO.

I encourage everyone to watch it and enjoy the rich sounds of New Orleans.
