I love Bridal Market. It reminds me of all the wonderful things life intends. Like dreams, family, and falling in love.
Sure it’s a business, but it’s a business that is supposed to be surrounded by making women feel like a princess on their special day. And I’m ok with that. This world has enough horrible things going on. So if a gown makes a woman feel special, then so be it. Let us all be special!
Plus these gowns are a dream. They are wearable art. And so I bring you some of the trends I kept seeing on an off the runway during October’s 2017 Bridal Market.
LONG SLEEVES
While some of us don’t mind the rights to bare arms, some are not or simply want something more conservative for church. It’s nice to see sleeves of all types back in the run way. Who’s excited for bell sleeves?

FUN JACKETS
Sometimes a bride just wants to have some fun. A jacket is a simple way to change things up.

SHADES OF RED
Everywhere I turned this season there was something red. From gowns to accessories. I guess it’s the color of the season?

BRIDAL CAPES
Capes are still in all the runways and pretty much all of designers now have their own version. Here are some of my favorites.
