This weekend I attended the Tempted and Tantalizing in Staten Island Indy Book Signing. It was a fantastic time! Stay tuned, we have a giveaway coming later this week from this event.

I met new authors and was able to spend time with my OG, Silvia. As well as my friend Phoenix Soy who drove all the way from Boston.

Phoenix is an upcoming book cover model. And one of the very few Asians in the scene. She did shoot with one of the best photographers in the Indy world right now, Jean Maureen Woodfin or better known as JW Photography. Out of that photoshoot she did sell a few prints. And personally, I can not WAIT to see them on a cover.

For fun, we decided to do a mini shoot and this is the outcome.

Phoenix is the kind of person she doesn’t think she could be sexy. She thinks she is just cute. But I think I proved her wrong. Am I right?

I am extremely proud of these pictures. Specially since I didn’t have my DSLR with me. I took them with my little Sony a5000. Pretty good camera if I say so myself. The lighting in the room was pretty perfect and I didn’t do much to these pictures. Just played with the lighting a bit.

My personal favorite is the one of her laughing. It just shows who she is as a person. Which one is your favorite?
