HAPPILY EVER ALL-STAR
A Secret Baby Romance

Can you fake a happily-ever-after?
Veteran running back Jude Owens is one of the best and most respected players in the league. A brutal concussion nearly ended his career, but Jude refuses to retire without earning the ultimate honor—a championship.
But first, he needs me to clear him to play. As the Ironfield Rivets’ neurologist, I usually treat bad boy quarterbacks and beastly linebackers. I can’t be impartial when my lifelong crush hops onto the exam table. Not only is Jude gorgeous and a gentleman, he’s my brother’s best friend…and the father of my unborn baby.
Or so everyone thinks.
Jude offers to pose as my boyfriend and the baby’s father to save my reputation. In return, he needs my help to stay on the field. The pretend romance keeps me close enough to take care of him, but I can’t protect my heart. Our stolen kisses and nightly indiscretions have transformed this fake relationship into something so very real.
I can’t complicate our arrangement by falling in love, especially as Jude’s obsession with football blinds him to everything but the game. When his symptoms worsen, the only way I can protect him may be to sit him on the sidelines. But ending his career will ruin our Once Upon A Time.
It’s up to me to save my prince charming…
Even if it means I lose my happily-ever-after.

A DEE REVIEW
Hello my sexy beasts! I picked up Happily Ever All-Star: A Secret Baby Romance by Sosie Frost on a whim. A romance about a football player? Yeah, ok I’m in. Plus it’s still currently on sale for $.99 USD on Amazon. This book turned out to be so much more than just a single story. It’s the ENTIRE series! Books included are:
- Happily Ever All-Star
- Bad Boy’s Baby
- Beauty and the Blitz
- Once Upon A Half-Time
- Touchdowns & Tiaras – Series Epilogue (not sold desperately)
I could spend all day talking about each of these books, but here are my top reasons why I love them:
- All the female leads are smart African American women.
- Race is never a factor. It’s barely ever mentioned.
- It’s about hot pro-football players.
- Ms. Frost knows football or she really did her research because her description of calls, penalties, plays, rulings, injuries, and everything relating to football was on POINT! I know football and I was SO excited to read a romance from someone who seems to understand the game.
- The humor. My lord, these books are funny!
- Each book is inspired by a Disney Princess movie. Isn’t that awesome!?
In Happily Ever All-Star you meet Aurora and Jude. Inspired by Sleeping Beauty. But she’s not the sleeping beauty in this case, it’s him. I LOVE the twist! But then again his nickname is Charming. So it could very well be Cinderella?
Who doesn’t love a bad boy? I do! In Bad Boy’s Baby you meet Leah and Jack. This one I couldn’t quite put my finger on which Disney movie it was but Jack reminds me a lot of Prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog. Over blown ego, all full of himself, and all he’s looking for is just “one kiss”. His nickname for Leah is in fact “Kiss”.
There is no doubt in my mind that Beauty and the Blitz is inspired by Beauty and the Beast. In fact, Cole’s nickname is “Beast”. And Piper wore a yellow dress. Everyone is afraid of The Beast, even himself. He’s stubborn and growly. And yet, he makes your girly parts rumble with excitement.
And ending with my favorite out of all the stories, Once Upon A Half-Time. Honestly guys the fact that it’s inspired by The Little Mermaid, my favorite Disney movie, had nothing to do with this. I LOVE ELLE AND LACHLAN! I could gush over this one all bloody day and it wouldn’t be enough fangirling. Elle has red hair, is an exceptional swimmer, that is a knickknack hoarder, with a controlling dad. She even looses her voice. AH SO GOOD! I didn’t want this book to end. I actually felt a sense of loss when I finished reading this one.
As a matter of fact, I didn’t want this series to end. And I pray to the Sosie Frost muses and gods, that she gives us another book in this series. Please? Pretty please? With a cherry on top? If it helps, I could try to look like a sad adorable puppy?
If you pick up this book, and you’re like me, and like reading book series in order, read them in this seequence instead:
- Bad Boy’s Baby
- Beauty and the Blitz
- Once Upon A Half-Time
- Happily Ever All-Star
- Touchdowns & Tiaras – Series Epilogue
I love this series and I recommend it to anyone that doesn’t care about race, loves football, modern day romance, and Disney movies. I give this entire series 5 Nerd Glasses out of 5.
Sosie Frost knows football, and her modern day versions of Disney stories are on point. They made me beyond happy!
XOXOXO!
