Highlighter Challenge

Ok I lied, I didn’t do the highlighter challenge. I couldn’t possibly think of doing that mess to my face.

The truth is, I love to glow. Gold and bronze shades give me life, and I wear them all year round. I know the summer is ending. But I’d rather glow than look like the Corpse Bride in the fall and winter months. If I could be naturally tanned all year round, I would. Hallelujah for bronzers and highlighters. They keep that glow on my skin all year round.

So today, we are going to discuss my favorite powder highlighters and liquid luminizers.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit | That Glow

As you can probably tell, I use this palette daily. I love spraying some Mario Badescu Rosewater on my Luxie Dreamcatcher 522 Tapered Highlighter brush, and mixing Bubbly and Dripping in Gold. It looks amazingly beautiful, giving me a natural glow. I love highlighter but I don’t want it to be obvious. For daily use, I want it to be natural.

BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

This is my go to glam palatte. When I want to blind people with my highlighter, I mix Champagne Pop with Proseco Pop and BAM!

No golden girl is complete without some glow mixed into their foundation. Personally, I don’t put on foundation or tinted moisturizer without some mixed in. Here are my top two favorite liquid luminizers.

NYX Born to Glow | Gleam

This will be part of my next empties because I need a new one STAT. This is my every day luminizer. It’s not over the top, but gives you a fresh and youthful glow.

Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer | Ethereal

When I want to be a radiant majestic unicorn, this is what I mix into my foundation. It gives me that flawless look I love. I can’t live without it. And no one should.
