A Dee Review

Let me start by saying this is my first Erotic book I’ve ever read. I expected it to be cheesy and tacky. And I was ready to start rolling my eyes and puke in my mouth a little. However, I kind of enjoyed it. Why? Because it actually has a story.

I’d also like to note, this book is written in the first person. Which as y’all known I’m not a fan of, because you miss so much. It’s like being told half the story. But Mrs. Booth did a wonderful job in taking point of view (POV) turns. One chapter was written in Alison’s POV and the other in Scott’s, which I liked a lot. Yes It was written in first person, but I still got the full story.

Now, getting back to the story… Alison and Scott are two completely different people, with a big age gap; 14 years. He’s her sisters body guard and she’s a rich girl that hates her family. She goes out of her way to set herself apart from the insanity she grew up in. But she happily spends the money too. Which let’s face it, if I was in her place, I would do the same thing. She kind of deserves it after all the junk she has to live around.

Let me tell you Scott was good and held on for a LONG time. Ali was relentless in getting in his pants, and he was like nope “Bye Felicia”. But there’s so much a man could take before he cracks and was at her mercy. The age difference bothered him a lot. But the more time he spent with Ali, he realized she was beyond mature, even more than him at times. And maybe she could be more than just a booty call? Maybe she could be his forever booty call?

Well see I’m not going to give you that answer. If you want to know how Booty Call ends, you’ll need to read it.

I give Booty Call 4 Nerd Glasses. It was entertaining, and for Erotica, it had a story and heart. If more erotica’s were like this, I’d probably read them. Then again, I adore the author and her writing style so it doesn’t take much for me to love anything she writes. To me, a good story, takes you away from your reality for a bit. And this book, helped me escape my reality and live in the lap of luxury of the rich and crazy.
