It’s a huge surprise, that a lot of fellow bookies have not heard of OverDrive. Well, what is it? OverDirve is an app that let’s your borrow eBooks from you local library.

Say what? You read that correctly. Borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and more from your local public library – anywhere, anytime.

Before you get started you’ll need a few things.

• Before downloading make sure your library participates in the online program by clicking here.
• An active library card
• OverDrive app

The following steps are pretty easy. I took screen shots as I went along.

After downloading the app, you’ll be prompted to create an account:

Once you’re account has been confirmed, you’ll need to add a library. This is where you library card comes in handy. Get your card number, and search for your library.

Once you find if your library, and connect it to the app, you’ll have access to borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and even at times movies and shows.
