Something I love to do around the holidays is make treats. ‘Tis the season!

My favorite flavor combo is sweet and salty, and I find a lot of people are in my same boat. One particular special treat I enjoy making is chocolate covered pretzel sticks. They’re easy to make and budget friendly.

All you need is your favorite chocolate and a container of pretzel rods. These are my favorite brands to use.

Each bag was on sale for $2.00 USD.

Pretzel rods were $6.49 USD for a tub of 80.

For the chocolate I use 1 bag of bittersweet, 1 bag of milk, and half a bag of white chocolate and melt on medium heat in a saucepan.

All you need is a spoon to help you smother chocolate about 2/3 of the way up the pretzel, and let the excess drip off before you place on a wax paper covered baking sheet.

Sprinkle with you decoration of choice and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

These are perfect to give as gifts, to take to a Holiday party, and even a fun treat to make with the kids.

For less than $13.00 USD you make about 80 pretzel rods. This easy treat, is truly easy on the pocket, and look how pretty they look! Inexpensive, cute, and delicious.
