Hello everybody! Oh, how much I’ve missed you! Life gets busy, but don’t worry I am still here ready to give you some more beauty tips. Today I am bringing you a very easy, super fun, and super cute tutorial: Ombre Lips.
After I learned how to create ombre lips it’s become my favorite way to wear lipstick.
Ombre means two or more colors/shades blended so that they fade into one another. You can accomplish the look using two different shade of lipsticks, pencil and lipstick, or like my tutorial today eyeshadow and lipstick.
To accomplish red/black ombre lips you’ll obviously need a red lipstick, black eyeshadow, and a lip brush. I used:
- trèStiQue Lip Crayon in Chile Red
- NYX Primal Color pressed pigment in Hot Black
- Morphe B44 Lip Brush (my favorite!)
First, I apply my treStique lip crayon. This is a nice shade of red, that looks great on its own.
Then I apply the black pigment all around the edges using my lips brush. Don’t get scared! You won’t look like a chola for long.
Now, it’s time to blend!
And here it is. Super fun, super easy, and super cute!
I hope you liked it and if you try this make sure you share below on social media by using the hashtag #nerdandlace.
