Happy Saturday guyz! Had a great last few days. Met the CEO and founder of Breakups to Makeup, Angelique Velez. Beautiful person and brilliant business woman. And yesterday I attended a Gerard Cosmetics and Ricky’s NYC # Store event. I met beauty vloggers Nicol Concilio and Stephanie Ledda. Great ladies! Tons of pictures up on our Instagram.
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect eyebrow pencil, and I found it! It’s not this one. But I still wanted to give you my opinion because it’s inexpensive and easy to find. I will share my perfect eyebrow pencil with you this coming Beauty Tuesday.
I found Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Brown Pencil in Brunettes Do it Better at Rite Aid for $1.99 USD. I mean really, how could could it actually not be great with that price tag, right?
Their website claims:
- 2-in1 dual-ended pencil
- Rich, lightweight color lasts all day
- Grooming comb
So let’s test it out. You probably can’t tell in the pictures, but I’m an ash dark blonde, and I don’t color treat my hair. My biggest issue with brow pencils is that most brunette pencils have a red tone to them and it looks awful on me. I mean my brows stick out like Brad Pitt in a sea of ugly men. It’s terrible. This pencil, however, does not have that red tint to it. So automatically I liked it.
My issue with this pencil is that it’s too soft. They were right, it is super light weight. Mid day, I had to reapply as it easily comes off. One, swipe with a tissue and it’s completely gone. Yes, I did try to set it with powder, and even used mascara on my brows to try to keep it in place, and nothing. It comes off right away.
I’ve shared this pictures before, and I’ll re-share them because I was wearing this very brow pencil. And I think my brows looked pretty decent for wearing an inexpensive brow pencil.
My biggest test comes during my hour long kickboxing class. When the 60 minutes were up, I had no eyebrows.
I give this brow pencil a solid 3 Nerd Glasses out of 5. It’s a great backup and super inexpensive. You can’t go wrong paying $1.99 USD for it.
