A very close friend of mine is renewing her vows and fulfilling her dream of a destination wedding in St. Marteen this month. So she came to me wondering what she could get for her guests. Since it was a small wedding, with a total 15 guests, I suggested putting together gift bags to have the hotel hand out to each guest at check-in. Great idea, right?!

Since this was a destination wedding we customized the bag to the type of location. We put a few convenience items in the gift bags: snacks, mints, drink packets, tissues, sunscreen, and an inflatable pool noodle. Doodles can be found over at Amazon.

Then we added a small gift item depending on gender: a mini makeup bag for the ladies, and ear buds for the gents.

Other items not pictured that went in the bags were: a bottle of water, a laminated itinerary sheet, and a map of St. Marteen. We took all these items and put them in these great reusable plastic gift bags that we purchased from Papermart at $1.07 USD per bag. I love this website, they have everything for your party needs. I’ve been using them for years.

We also added some fancy gift tags from Michael’s which were $2.99 USD for 13 tags.

And viola! We put together awesome gift bags to welcome their wedding guests.
