Wedding Gown Of The Week: Claire La Faye

Wedding Gown Of The Week - Claire la Faye

Spring Bonjour

Did ya’ll know they have Wedding Gown designers on Etsy? Well they do and some amazing ones!

One that stands out to me is Claire La Faye. Her dresses are works of art. My favorite is her Bohemian Gown. It’s gorgeous.

About this gown:

This show stopper of a piece is 100% silk chiffon over a layer of silk charmeuse, and further lined underneath in a light china silk.Bust is composed of layers of silk chiffon, underneath the layer of alencon lace that encompasses the front bodice and cups.

Further delicate detailing includes a diagonal row of satin covered buttons, and three rows of vintage pearl and rhinestone chain which hang front to side.

A gorgeous gold hued lace covers one corset cup decorated in tiny pearls and crystal beading. Dress is built on lightly boned, strapless, low plunge undercorset that has hook and eye adjustable back closure and lightly lined cups.Invisible zip at back of skirt. Adjustable hook and eye closure at corset back. All seams finished with lovely edging. Soft faded pink chiffon belt wraps around back. Skirt is layers of bias chiffon with asymmetric side cowls, and an additional flounce of chiffon hangs down to a stunning floor length show of pleating down one complete side of skirt. This is just the dress!

The eye catching gem to complete this piece is the 70″ of gathered tulle, lace pleating, organza and chiffon that make up the train.Three cream (or pink) rosettes sit at train top to connect to dress at corset back.It begins in layers of cream and ivory up top, that blend into pale pale pink towards the bottom and finish in a few rows of faded rosy bliss.

100% silk, Impeccable craftsmanship, a Claire La Faye original…in a word, lovely. You will never find another dress like this, it is as unique as it is unforgettable! These type of pieces have impeccable fit, many hours of labor and hand work, and will make you feel as special as can be when you are in them!
