Save The Date

I’ve been obsessed with Wedding Paper Divas invitations and cards for years. Not that I have a real reason to visit the website, I just really love invitations and greetings cards. I have a collection of cards from when I was a little baby. Yup! I save them all.

Wedding Paper Divas’ collection has wrong beautifully over the years. I remember when they only had a few pages of each type of their product, now you can scroll on and on and on. It’s amazing! I love seeing great companies gain success.

It’s dawned on me that newly engaged couples may not know the proper etiquette or time line of when to send their Save The Date, Wedding Invitation, and Thank You Cards. So here is a list to make things easier for you:

  • SAVE THE DATE: Six months in advance. You have to remember that people have lives, family, work, vacations, and they need proper notice.
  • WEDDING INVITATIONS: Two months in advance, or six weeks prior to the big day at the latest.
  • THANK YOU CARDS: I’ve heard many times people say you have a up to year to send thank you cards, however that’s simply rude. I say do them as soon as possible, or 6-8 weeks after the ceremony.

Keeping in the Save The Date theme, unlike a lot of wedding planners, or those of us obsessed with weddings, I don’t think these cards have to necessarily match the Wedding Invitations. This is your chance to really personalize your wedding, or to set the tone for it. Here are some of my favorite Save the Dates from Wedding Paper Divas.

Which one is your favorite? Mine is “K.I.S.S.I.N.G” lol

As always, I hope this information is useful to you in getting your wedding details in order.

XOXO Dee
