Howdy ya’ll!
First of all, I want to take a moment, to thank our Veterans! Freedom is not free. It’s because of people like you that we have our freedom. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your scarifies. And to our current armed forces, Thank you, Gracias, Mahalo, and Merci. If you don’t support our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.
Ok now, I’m a HUGE country music fan. Being that I am from Jersey/NYC and I come from a Hispanic background, my family doesn’t understand my obsession LOL! What can I say, I beat at the sound of my own drum. I guess I love music that says something, and music that is about you and me, you know the average folks. Music we, I, can identify with. Trace Adkins said it right, “Cause it’s songs about me, and who I am. Songs about loving and living and good hearted women and family and God. Yeah they’re all just, songs about me.”
You know what my favorite birthday present has been until now? Can’t guessed? In 2005 the CMA’s came to NYC and guess who was there in her Dukes of Hazzards shirt? MEEEEEEEEEEE!!! lol Here is one of my dorky pics:
Did ya’ll watch last nights CMA? Yes? No? Did you just love Brad Paisley and Carrie hosting? They were just hilarious! If you missed the show, this IS the funniest show opening EVER!!! Tim McGraw as an avatar {falls over dying laughing} the tail the tail!

Favorite dress of the night, the lovely Kellie Pickler. That gold sequences dress was stunning. Of course, Martina McBride looked amazing as always. And the funnest dress goes to Leann Rimes.
Props to the stage designers. Every time an act came out to sing, the stages were just, for lack of a better word, AWESOME! That snow when Taylor sang. The self lighting candles for Lady Antebellum. The Vegas Strip for Rascal Flatts, and on and on. Really great stages.
Alright, I’ll stop yapping. I hoped you enjoyed the show as much as I did.
