Taking a moment to reflect on those things that I’m thankful for: Family, Friends, Health, Food, Beautiful Things, Photography, Smiles, Whiskey, Flip-flops, Hair Rollers, Foundation, and concealer lol… but what one of things I am most grateful for this year is having an income. I was unemployed for a long time, and let me tell you stress, depression, and all those horrible things that I’ve never dealt with in my life, set in. I lost myself for a long time and I’m happy to be finding my way back to me. It’s amazing to be able to once again stand on my own two feet and be able to do things for those that I love, and for myself.
I know I already mentioned my family already, but really, family is the only thing you have when life kicks you down. If it wasn’t for them, I don’t know where I’ll be. Yes we argue and at times we wonder we were implanted by aliens in your family they are so weird. In my case I wonder if Doctor Who dropped off in my families door step as a joke. But in the end that’s just how family dynamic is. I’m lucky to have a good, insane, and crazy family.
I’m also thankful for all those volunteers helping out with Hurricane Sandy. I wasn’t affected, but it’s amazing to know that there are people out there that care. If you’ll like to volunteer see here how. And I can’t forget being grateful for our armed forced here in The States and all over the world. They are the reason we live in the land of the free. THANK YOU!
I hope you take time to spend some time with the ones you love, and be thankful that you are alive and well.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
