I know we all like to spend our money at the movies in the big blockbusters, or the new YA book turned movie. But I’ll like to encourage everyone, teens, parents, aunts, uncles, everyone to go see this movie. Go see how words affect people. How when you think you’re joking or being “cool”, how it truly hurts someone.

This trailer put a whole in my heart and brought tears to my eyes.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not about being politically correct. I’m far from that.  It’s about treating people with the respect they deserve. No one wants to be in the place these people are in. Too loose a child because of others actions… I just can’t even imagine what an 11 year old boy must have felt like to take his own life. No, I would never think or say that he was a coward, or that he needed to grow some skin like I am sure a lot of people would say. He just needed one person to love and accept him.

So I encourage everyone to take a moment and watch this trailer and go see this movie. Let’s be part of the solution, not the problem. Bring love and not hate.

I hope this video at least makes you stop and think and talk to your kids. And encourage them to treat people like they want to be treated, with love, kindness and understanding.
