Aloha minions LOL! Kidding. I want to welcome P.A. Brown to the loony bin, i.e. Fun With Dee lol. Thank you so much for being here with us today.

How about we get to know a little about PA: Born in one of the coldest cities in Canada Pat escaped at 22, fleeing to Los Angeles. Her adventures there led to L.A. Heat and all its progeny.

She wrote her first book at 17. She read her first positive gay book then, The Lord Won’t Mind, by Gordon Merrick, and had her eyes opened. After holding a host of jobs, at 40 she went back to school and became a Network engineer, which eventually landed her on the shores of Bermuda where she spent 2 years learning how to drink rum swizzles and battle hurricanes. Back in Canada, she buckled down and started producing books seriously resulting in a multitude of books coming out in the next year.

Where do you like to go to have fun? The beach, A pub, A movie
What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? Having a few drinks with my writers group.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Australia and New Zealand
What is your all time favorite comedy movie? National Lampoon’s Animal House
What song always makes you happy when you hear it? Baba O’Riley by The Who. Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones (what can I say, weird things make me happy)
What was your favorite sitcom growing up? MASH – does that count? If not, All in the Family
What favorite food puts you in a great mood? Pizza. Cheese fondue.
Who’s the funniest person you know? Robin Williams
What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex? Their chest, especially if it’s bare.
What music are you listening to right now? The River by Good Charlotte
How is the weather right now? Sunny with clouds. Very humid.
What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? The city of Los Angeles skyline
What do you have handy at your bedside? A book, a pen, and paper
Grilled or Fried? Deep fried!
Are you afraid of the dark? No, I like the dark.
Three things you cannot live without? Books. My laptop. Music

What one thing would you take with you on a deserted island? My laptop
Favorite TV commercial? The one where the car turns into a puffer fish to scare off the big bad gas guzzler
What are the things you always take with you? Book, pen, and pad
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A cowboy – anything to do with horses.
Do you still have your tonsils? Yes. I’ve never had any surgery, or broken any bones.
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Usually no.
Which you favorite ice cream flavor? Double dutch chocolate with chocolate chips. Do you detect a theme here?
If you were a crayon what color would you be? Deep jade green
Which are your favorite smells? Pikaki, magnolia, grilling steaks
Do you like people with green eyes? Love them. Wish I had green eyes.
Do you like scary movies or comedy movies more? Probably comedies more. Very few movies scare me. Most are just gross, slasher films and those bore me. But if you can make me laugh, I’m all yours.
What is on your mouse pad? Ghetto falcon – LAPD helicopter
Would a fly without wings be called a walk? Of course. Or a stroller.
Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them? The evidence would suggest so. If so, it’s highly successful.
If the police arrest a mime, do they tell him he has the right to remain silent? Maybe they have to sign it to him?
Why do they put Braille on the drive-through bank machines? Now that’s a scary question
How do they get the deer to cross at that yellow road sign? Put Braille on them?
What was the best thing before sliced bread? Apples?
Could it be that all those trick-or-treaters wearing sheets aren’t going as ghosts but as mattresses? Good point. Bring out your Seeley Posturepedics and their sheep

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called “rush hour”? It should be called turtle hour
